Dr. Abra Carroll Nardo is a licensed professional psychologist.
I specialize in the assessment and treatment of learning, attentional and behavioral difficulties. I also has advanced training in Family Systems Therapy. I received my doctorate of psychology from Indiana University.

APPROACH TO TREATMENT

"I use a collaborative, hands on approach to help students be more productive and content at school, with friends, and at home. Through meetings with children, parents and teachers and also psychological assessment tools, I help parents understand their children's learning differences and psychological issues. I also enjoy working with college students and adults, offering psychological assessments and ADD/ADHD coaching. My approach to coaching clients with ADD/ADHD is a non-judgmental, practical approach. I help clients create natural, sustainable change that will decrease their stress (and stress of those around them).

I provide psycho-educational assessments to children, teens and adults. In order to ensure that proper diagnosis and recommendations are made, I often meet with students, parents and teachers and observe students in their school setting. I also provide life coaching to students and adults with ADD/ADHD.

I will go to your child's school and observe him or her in the classroom, and talk to his or her teachers. In my practice, I offer late afternoon and early evening hours to accommodate students needs as much as possible."
