Nancy Lloyd, Ph.D.
is a Licensed Psychologist. She received her Doctorate in Psychology in 1980. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at NCSU, Meredith, and Peace College. She published or co-authored papers on recovery of function after brain damage. She has taught or supervised UNC medical school students, residents, and interns, and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UNC School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Lloyd worked at Dorothea Dix Hospital for 22 years, and currrently works for Disability Determination Services. She has had her private practice in Raleigh since 1985. She sees individual adults and couples regarding relationship issues , depression, anxiety and panic disorder. She also has 5 years experience of geropsychology. She uses brief solution-focused techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Currently only evening appointments are available.
