Dr. Nicole Imbraguglio (pronounced em-bra-gool-lee-a) provides counseling and evaluation services to individuals of all ages, having worked with children from the age of three through adults into their 60s. She is experienced in individual, couples, and group therapy, psychological and educational evaluations, and interventions with children. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, an emergency walk-in center, trauma clinics, college counseling centers, elementary and middle schools, and hospitals. Three of her special interests include couples and relationship issues; psychological and educational assessment for all ages; and helping those who have experienced abuse or trauma. She holds her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Interpersonal Dynamics, and a Master's degree in Community and Clinical Psychology. For more complete information on Dr. Imbraguglio visit her off site Web Page: www.lepageassociates.com/html/nicole.html.

In her clinical work with adults, Dr. Imbraguglio has worked with clients with a wide variety of common concerns including depression and mood disturbances in general, anxiety, couple's issues, physical symptoms of stress, family and peer relationships, assertiveness, and life transitions to include general concerns about various life planning and decision making issues. In addition, she has extensive experience in working with survivors of trauma, to include adult sexual trauma, adult survivors of child sexual abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Her clinical work with adults also includes conducting comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations. Building on her interest in couple's issues, her dissertation examined how people in relationships respond to changes in their partner's interpersonal approach. In addition, she participated with other psychologists in research on couple's and family issues, designing studies examining aggression and power in intimate partners, and analyzing videotapes of family and couples therapy for the constructs of empathy and therapeutic change. Psychoeducational classes and outreach programs developed and conducted by Dr. Imbraguglio have included the topics of Relationship Building, Stress & Anger Management, Depression, Grief, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Trauma.

Dr. Imbraguglio's work with children also spans assessment, therapy, and research. She has extensive experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations across the academic spectrum, to include evaluating for learning disabilities and AD/HD as well as gifted children and adolescents. In addition to conducting the assessments, her work in the schools involved performing behavioral observations in classroom settings, and attending special education meetings to report evaluation results to teachers and administrators and to advocate for the child as needed. She has also conducted comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for children and adolescents to aid in differential diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and determinations of adoption readiness. Dr. Imbraguglio has experience working with children with issues such as depression, anxiety, dealing with divorce, problems with peers, social problems, AD/HD, family and school difficulties, and shyness. Having worked on a children's crisis stabilization unit with clients between 5-17 years of age who were a threat to themselves or someone else, she is also well equipped to assist parents in de-escalation techniques, as well as teaching children how to self-regulate emotions.

INFORMATION ON FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION:
I recognize when choosing a psychologist - whether for yourself, your family, or your company - it will be important for you to feel the professional you choose will be a "good fit." As a professional courtesy, to help make your search for the right psychological services provider easier, I will not charge you for the initial session if you feel that it is not a good fit. In fact, if I am not a good fit for you, I will be happy to talk with you about what you're looking for, and give you the names of other psychologists that fit your description. If you decide that I am a good fit and to use my services, only then will I charge you for the first session. If at the end of the first session you still have other appointments set up in your search for a psychologist, I will not charge you then, and will instead bill for the first session only if you decide that I am a good fit and return to use my services. I hope that this policy makes your search for the right psychological services provider a bit easier.
